Benevolent Clans During Fiesta 2011

The Ompoc-Monzon Clan giving free meal on Parish Grounds during the Fiesta.

Normally during a feast, the host celebrates by inviting guests to dine in their meal to celebrate an occasion. During the Barangay Mabolo Fiesta Celebration last March 22, 2011, the Ompoc-Monzon Clan did the opposite thing; they seek for needy guests on the St. Joseph the Patriarch church grounds and provided packed meals for free. You heard it, it’s free! For these lucky guests, the feast literally visits them. It is one  rare thing to the a generous behavior these days especially by giving  food to those you do not know. A member of this benevolent Clan has said that this is their way of offering to our patron Saint, St. Joseph the Patriarch. Indeed, this is a philanthropic feat exampled by the Ompoc-Monzon Clan that can be hardly sought nowadays especially greed is now ubiquitous all over the world where even trusted leaders hungers for power and money. Greed was indeed shown by some of the guests where after receiving a packed meal, lined on the queue again overtaking some of those who haven’t received any meal yet.
God Bless and More Power to the Ompoc-Monzon Clan! May your deed of benevolence be an example to the Parishioners of St. Joseph the Patriarch Mabolo Parish.
